Opening Hours

Wildwood Vineyard is generally open from May to September, most weekends and some Bank Holidays, between 10 AM and 4 PM. Tours and tastings are typically held on Saturdays and Sundays during this period, with sittings at 12 PM and 2 PM.Bookings

Pre-booking is essential for tours and tastings. Private tours can also be arranged directly with the vineyard.
Food & Drink

While there isn't a full restaurant, you can enjoy cheese tasting plates featuring award-winning East Sussex cheeses, expertly paired with Wildwood wines.
Special Events

The vineyard is available for private events, including weddings, receptions, and corporate gatherings. They also have special tie-in days with the Spa Valley Railway, offering a unique combined experience.

Accessibility

The vineyard is a working farm with uneven surfaces, and the path to the vineyard can be steep and rutted. The Wine

Wildwood Vineyard is a multi-award-winning, family-owned boutique vineyard producing premium quality English still and sparkling wines. They cultivate Bacchus, Pinot Noir, and Regent grapes. Their still wine range includes the aromatic Bishop Odo Bacchus white, the mouth-watering Eagle Ridge and Saxonbury Pinot Noir rosés, and the light-bodied Thieving Badger Regent red. For sparkling wine enthusiasts, they produce traditional method Blanc de Noirs and Rosé de Noirs fizz, alongside a unique Pink Vermouth.

The wines have received significant acclaim, demonstrating their quality across various competitions. Wildwood Vineyard notably received a Gold award at the PIWI Wine Award International in 2022. They have also garnered multiple Silver medals, including at the WineGB Awards in both 2022 and 2023, the IEWA in 2020 and 2021, a Silver Medal in the Gastronomic Category at the Glass of Bubbly Awards 2024 for their Blanc de Noirs 2021, and a Silver at the London Wine Competition 2024 for their Pinot Noir 2023.

Wildwood Vineyard is off-grid and employs a wide range of sustainable practices in their viticulture. Their wines are crafted under contract by Defined Wine of Canterbury, a founding member of the Sustainable Wines of Great Britain initiative.

By Car
When driving, do NOT use the postcode as it may lead you astray. Instead, use Google Maps with "Wildwood Vineyard" as your destination. Park in the public layby off the A26, marked by a large blue P, then follow the bridle path for approximately 400m to the vineyard.

By Public Transport
  • Bus: The vineyard is a 3-minute walk from bus stops served by the 228/229 and 28/29 bus services from/to Tunbridge Wells (request the stop for The Forstal). From the bus stop, walk into the layby on the A26 Eridge Road and then down the bridle path.
  • Train: Eridge Train Station is a short 13-minute walk away. Eridge is a 56-minute train ride by Southern Trains from London Bridge.
