What's the vibe

Parvills Farm Vineyard offers an authentic, rooted experience, having been home to four generations of the same family. Over the last decade, the farm has transitioned from dairy farming to a vineyard, blending concepts from past generations and global travels, including bringing back free-range pigs.

Visiting information

Parvills Farm Vineyard is open for visits and tastings by appointment only, available Monday through Sunday. It is essential to contact the vineyard in advance to arrange a suitable time. While there are no self-guided tours, booked experiences are available. The vineyard does not have a restaurant or café on site, but wine and pork boxes can be pre-ordered for collection. The vineyard is considered family friendly.

The Wine

Parvills Farm Vineyard primarily cultivates the Solaris grape. From this varietal, they produce a dry crisp white wine known for its intense aromas, refreshing and clean palate, and a light floral finish. They also offer a sweeter white wine from the Solaris grape, although this may not always be in stock. The vineyard has plans to introduce a sparkling wine in the future.

The vineyard is committed to sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices, focusing on regenerative agriculture techniques such as cover cropping and minimal tillage to increase biodiversity and improve soil health. They aim to return to traditional farming methods. The grapes are hand-picked, but vinification (winemaking) is carried out off-site at Chilford Hall in Cambridgeshire. While Parvills Farm Vineyard's wines are crafted with care, specific recent awards for their wines are not prominently listed in publicly available information; it is recommended to check their official website or contact them directly for the latest accolades.
