The Wine
Lokkelebery Vineyard, established in 2022, is a pioneering young vineyard growing classic grape varieties including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, and Pinot Noir Précoce. While the vineyard is newly planted, the first still wines, particularly a premium rosé, are anticipated from 2025, with traditional method sparkling wines expected from 2028. As a new venture, Lokkelebery Vineyard's wines have not yet entered award competitions. The vineyard is deeply committed to sustainable practices, working in harmony with nature. This includes planting wildflower meadows and creating wildlife hedgerow corridors to support biodiversity, as well as using weather stations to guide vine care.
While the first wines are still maturing, the vineyard is part of Lockley Farm, and the future plan is to produce the wines under their own Lokkelebery label.
