The Wine

Hattingley Valley is renowned for its premium English sparkling wines, produced using the traditional method, and also crafts still wines. Their portfolio includes various sparkling cuvées such as the Classic Reserve NV, Kings Cuvée, Kings Rosé, and a Rosé 2021. These sparkling wines are typically blends of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. They also produce still wines like "The English Gent" and a Still White, which includes varietals like Pinot Gris and Bacchus.

Hattingley Valley has earned significant acclaim, accumulating over 180 industry awards and 14 trophies globally. Their first vintage in 2013, for example, secured a Gold medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards. Their winemaker has also twice been recognised as Winemaker of the Year.

The vineyard practices are environmentally conscious, with the estate being awarded 'Sustainable Wines of Great Britain' status in 2022. Their partner growers hold 'Red Tractor Farm Assurance Fresh Produce' and 'Gold Standard' accreditations, demonstrating a commitment to environmental consideration and biodiversity.

The vineyard boasts a custom-built, eco-friendly winery, completed in 2010. This state-of-the-art facility is one of the largest in the UK, capable of handling large volumes of grapes and wine, and not only produces Hattingley Valley's own wines but also makes wines for other English vineyards.
