What's the vibe

Harrow & Hope offers a sophisticated yet welcoming experience, set amidst beautiful rolling vineyards, where visitors can enjoy insightful tours and taste exceptional English sparkling wine.

Visiting information

Tours & Tastings: Vineyard and winery tours with tutored tastings are available seasonally, generally running from May through to the end of August. Booking is essential as tours are limited and often sell out quickly. Each tour lasts approximately two hours. While formal tours are seasonal, the vineyard shop is typically open Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

On-site Facilities: Harrow & Hope does not have a restaurant or cafe on site, but they do host occasional 'Vineyard Evenings' during the summer where wine can be enjoyed by the glass or bottle.

Children & Dogs:

  • Children under 12 are not permitted on vineyard tours due to safety regulations in the working winery, but they are welcome in the shop and tasting room.
  • Dogs are welcome at the vineyard but must be kept on a lead at all times. For health and safety reasons, they are not permitted in the winery or shop, but a designated grassy area is available outside the shop.
Accommodation & Events: There is no accommodation on site. Beyond regular tours and occasional summer 'Vineyard Evenings', specific special events should be checked directly with the vineyard.

The Wine

Harrow & Hope is dedicated solely to the production of high-quality English Traditional Method sparkling wines. Their range typically includes Brut Reserve, Blanc de Blancs, Blanc de Noirs, and Rosé, crafted from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grapes grown on their single vineyard estate in Marlow.

The vineyard boasts an impressive collection of accolades, having been named UK Winery of the Year in 2019 at the Wine GB Awards. Their wines consistently receive high praise, with their Blanc de Noirs 2018 winning a Gold Medal at the WineGB Awards 2023, and their Blanc de Blancs 2018 being a joint victor at the WineGB Awards 2024. The Brut Reserve has also earned multiple silver medals at prestigious competitions.

Harrow & Hope employs sustainable practices in their viticulture, focusing on organic nutrition and avoiding herbicides, with a stated commitment to working towards a net-zero future. The winery operates its own purpose-built facility on site, ensuring meticulous care and attention to detail throughout every stage of the winemaking process, from grape to bottle.
