Sustainability is central to Gwinllan Hebron's ethos. The vineyard was planted in 2010 using regenerative farming methods and became the first vineyard in the UK to receive regenerative certification from A Greener World (AGW). All vines are maintained by hand, with no use of pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or synthetic fertilizers. The vineyard aims for "Zero Zero wine," meaning zero intervention in both the vineyard and the winemaking process, and incorporates agroforestry practices, including a unique commercial arbustrum where vines are married to trees.
The winemaking process involves a partnership with natural winemaker David Morris, utilizing ceramic amphora for fermentation to create natural, low-intervention wines in Wales.
