Tour Dates and Opening Hours
Guided tours and tastings typically run on the second Sunday of the month from April to September. The broader Forty Hall Farm, which houses the vineyard, is generally open Wednesday to Sunday from 11am to 4pm, from Spring until mid-December. The farm shop is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11am to 4pm.
Restaurant or Cafe on Site
There isn't a full restaurant directly at the vineyard. However, the farm has a shop offering local produce and wines. The adjacent Forty Hall Estate features the Cedar Tree Café, serving light refreshments. During the monthly Farmers' Markets, street food vendors are often present.
Special Events
Special events include the popular Farmers' Markets held on the second Sunday of each month, often coinciding with vineyard tours. Forty Hall Farm also hosts other seasonal events, such as family days and special evening tours.

Dogs/Children
Dogs are welcome on leads during tours. Children are also welcome, and a small entry fee applies for adults (£4) for self-guided visits to the farm and vineyard, with children entering for £1. The wider Forty Hall Estate offers family-friendly trails and play areas.
The Wine
Forty Hall Vineyard produces a range of high-quality English wines, including still and sparkling varieties. Their acclaimed London Sparkling Brut is crafted using the traditional method, from Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay grapes grown on their estate. They also produce crisp, dry white still wines from Ortega and Bacchus grape varieties.The vineyard's wines have garnered significant recognition. The London Sparkling Brut received a Silver Medal at the Independent English Wine Awards in 2018 for its 2015 vintage. In 2017, the 2014 London Sparkling Brut won "Best Organic Wine" at the Soil Association BOOM Awards. Forty Hall Vineyard was also a winner at the Urban Food Awards in 2016.
The vineyard is certified organic, dedicating itself to environmentally sustainable farming and vine-growing practices. They employ low-intervention winemaking and foster biodiversity by working holistically with Forty Hall Farm, utilizing methods like sheep grazing and cover crops.
Forty Hall Vineyard does not have its own winery on site. Instead, their grapes are expertly crafted into wine by multi-award-winning organic winemaker Will Davenport in Sussex.

On-site car parking is available, though overflow parking at a nearby school is recommended on busy market and tour days, with a 5 to 10-minute walk to the vineyard from there.
By Public Transport
The nearest train stations are Enfield Town, Turkey Street, and Gordon Hill, all approximately a 20-30 minute walk from the vineyard. Enfield Town station offers a 30-minute train journey from London's Liverpool Street Station. The 191 bus stops at the bottom of Forty Hill, about a 10-minute walk away. Alternatively, the Piccadilly Line to Oakwood Underground station connects to bus routes (307 or 121 to Enfield Town, then the 191 bus).
