The Wine

Denbies Wine Estate is one of the UK's largest single-estate vineyards, cultivating 265 acres of vines that yield a wide array of wines. They are renowned for producing internationally award-winning, cool-climate sparkling wines made from traditional Champagne grape varieties, alongside a strong reputation for their premium still wines, including white, red, and rosé.

Denbies wines consistently receive accolades. In 2024 alone, they garnered multiple awards across various competitions, including a Gold for their Orange Vermouth from The Drinks Business and London Wine Competition, and Gold for their Cubitt Blanc de Noirs 2015 at the London Wine Competition. Their past successes include the IWC Gold 'Best Rosé in the World' for their Chalk Ridge Rosé 2010 in 2011, and the McNie Trophy for 'Best Blended White Wine' at the WineGB Awards 2019.

The vineyard is a leader in sustainable viticulture and winemaking. In 2024, Denbies became the first UK vineyard and winery to achieve Net Zero status under the UK Carbon Code of Conduct standard, and also secured B Corp certification, demonstrating a deep commitment to environmental responsibility. This commitment was further recognised in 2025 with a King's Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development. Denbies operates its own state-of-the-art winery on-site, ensuring full control over the winemaking process from grape to bottle.
