The Wine

Coolhurst Vineyards crafts a range of exceptional wines, primarily focusing on traditional method English sparkling wines. Their portfolio includes the highly acclaimed Lady Elizabeth Rosé, made from 100% Pinot Noir, and The Miller's Tale Blanc de Noirs, an unusual expression crafted from 100% Pinot Meunier. They also produce a unique Demi-Sec Rosé and a still Coolhurst Côtes de Provence Rosé, which is made in France.


The wines are made from carefully selected, hand-picked fruit from their single vineyard, which boasts a distinctive sandstone and ironstone terroir, differing from the chalk-dominant soils found elsewhere.


Coolhurst wines have received notable recognition. The Miller's Tale Blanc de Noirs earned a Gold Medal and was selected for the WineGB Golden50 list. The Lady Elizabeth Rosé has also been awarded, with the 2016 vintage receiving a Gold medal and the 2018 vintage being a WineGB Awards 2024 Medal Winner. Their Coolhurst Côtes de Provence Rosé 2021 was rated 90 points by Decanter. The wines are produced with meticulous care, with some vintages indicating production at New House Winery.
