The Wine

Chartham Vineyard produces a range of award-winning wines, including still white, red, rosé, and sparkling varieties. Their portfolio includes still whites made from Bacchus and Pinot Gris grapes, a still red and rosé from Pinot Noir, and sparkling wines such as Blanc de Blancs (from Chardonnay) and Rosé de Noir (from Pinot Noir).

Their wines have received significant recognition, including being awarded LWC Gold and LWC Wine of the Year UK in 2025. They have also secured several Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) Silver medals, including for their Pinot Gris 2023 and Pinot Noir 2020, and a Silver Medal at the 2020 International Wine Challenge for their Bacchus 2018. The Pinot Noir 2022 was also a WineGB Awards 2024 Medal Winner.

Chartham Vineyard is committed to sustainable practices, operating as a carbon-neutral company and employing regenerative farming methods. This includes a focus on biodiversity, wildlife conservation, soil health, and sustainable farming practices. They are actively working towards accreditation under the Sustainable Wines of Great Britain scheme. The vineyard's grapes are hand-picked, and while they plan to establish their own winery in the long term, winemaking is currently handled by Litmus Wines in Dorking, Surrey.
