What's the vibe

Nestled in the tranquil Canwell Valley, Buzzards Valley Wines offers a rural idyll on a 60-acre site that has developed into a community of on-site businesses, including fishing lakes, a nature trail, and a bistro.

Visiting information

Buzzards Valley Wines is open all year round, generally from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Sunday.Tours and Tastings: Vineyard and winery tours are available and can be booked in advance, including a Mixed Group Evening Vineyard Tour for £20 per person. Additionally, a Rustic Wine Tasting Hut offers wine and chocolate tastings for groups, available by booking.


Restaurant & Shop: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast or lunch at Kiki's Bistro, open daily from 9am to 3pm, with no prior booking required. The vineyard also features an Artisan, Wine and Gift Shop where you can purchase their wines and other local produce.

Special Events: Buzzards Valley hosts seasonal events, such as the Mistletoe & Wine Boutique Christmas Markets.

Dogs & Children: The vineyard is family-friendly. Dogs are welcome on leads on the free Nature Trail, which is open daily from March to October (10am-3pm). Please note that the Nature Trail is not suitable for pushchairs, prams, wheelchairs, scooters, or mobility aids due to its natural and uneven surfaces.

The Wine

Buzzards Valley Wines produces a diverse range of still white, rosé, and red wines, alongside their traditional method sparkling wines. They cultivate seven grape varieties on site, including Seyval Blanc, Rondo, Regent, Reichensteiner, Phoenix, Madeleine Angevine, and Pinot Noir. All their wines are vegan and contain low sulphites.


The vineyard operates a complete 'vine to wine' process, with all stages, from grape harvesting to bottling and labelling, performed on site in their own press and winery.


Buzzards Valley wines have garnered several accolades. Their "The Jammy Red" and "Hearty Fox" wines both received Silver awards at the International London Wine Competition in 2021. Additionally, their "Sly Fox" (made from the Rondo grape) earned an International Bronze award. The vineyard prides itself on bringing customers naturally grown, matured wine.

The nearest train station is Four Oaks, serviced by West Midlands Railway. From Four Oaks station, the vineyard is approximately a 15-20 minute taxi ride or a walk of about 1.5 hours. The 110 bus route also serves the area near Buzzards Valley.
